Christmas Day

Nettie decided that Santa would come to my house, that they would wake up and do stockings at their house, then come to my house for Santa, breakfast, the day and dinner.  It was so much fun.  Aria had such a blast opening all her presents (she got lots, we do spoil her a little bit).  She's been into rocks/geodes/lapidary so she got some new rocks and rock books, she got a beanbag chair from grandpa Charles, clothes, puzzle, 2 pairs of boots from me, and tons of stuff from mom and dad.  Zoe got a big stuffed bear from grandpa also.  It was fun picking up all the paper after it got demolished.  I made bacon, eggs and tater tots for breakfast.

They went home for a little while, then came back for dinner.  Ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, sliced carrots, butternut squash, bread then cookies for dessert.  We had a nice day.  Christmas Eve we were at Rick's for the evening.  Scott was on call so he had to stay home, but Nettie, I and the girls drove down, got there around 5:30 and left at 9 to drive home.  Jackie made bean soup, everyone brought something to share...Judy brought cookies and Skip's fudge.  Terry, Vicki, Joyce, Us, Jarrod, Jessica and the kids, Robert, Jenny and Auggie, Judy and Chuck.  Ron was up in Spokane with Brian, and Tresa decided not to come.  Aria had so much fun with her cousins, she was just ecstatic to see and play with Rylynn.

Looking forward to a nice, quiet New Years.
